     A Celebration Service for Mark Leland Barker, Jr., 49, of Lawton, Oklahoma, will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June25, 2007, at the St. Paul’s United Methodist Church with Rev. Terry Koehn, pastor, officiating.
     Mark died on Thursday, June 21, 2007, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
     Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.
     He was born on January 4, 1958, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Mark Leland and Alice (Beebe) Barker. He grew up here and graduated from Lawton High School in 1976. He moved to Colorado and lived there until moving back to Lawton 1985. He married Sabrina Powell on August 24, 1985, in Lawton, Oklahoma. They had two children Marcus Brock Barker born on September 12, 1986 and Brody Leland Barker born on February 7, 1991. Mark’s world revolved around his two sons, he was involved in coaching many sporting activities the boys were involved in and spent time in out door activities with his boys; in fact, his favorite past-time was spending time with his two boys.
     He was employed as a truck driver for Grayson’s and Southwest Ready Mix for several years before becoming employed with Pappy’s Corner Oil Change Shop in 1993. He worked there until recently becoming employed with Lawton Transit Mix. He was a member of the St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
     Survivors include his wife, Sabrina and his two sons, Marcus Brock Barker and Brody Leland Barker, all of the home; his parents, Mark Leland and Alice Barker of Branson, Missouri; his sister, Cathy Ayers and her husband, Randy, and their two children, Cierra and Skylar; his brother, Jeff Barker and his daughter, Linsey, all of Branson, Missouri; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Cecil and Nita Powell of Lawton, Oklahoma; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ty and Gae Powell and their children, Savannah Powell, Bo-Brooke Reid, and Zak Johnston.
