Funeral Services for Dorothy Mae Greer Bolton, 89 of Grandfield, Oklahoma will be 11 am, Saturday, February 23, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Grandfield with Dr. Bob Burch, pastor and Rev. Tony Nickel of the First Baptist Church of Harrah, Oklahoma officiating.
Mrs. Bolton died Tuesday, February 19, 2008, in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Interment will be in the Memorial Cemetery, Grandfield, under the direction of Gray Funeral Home, Grandfield, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Bolton was born February 2, 1919 in Grandfield, Oklahoma to Preston and Lena Gabriel Lasley. She grew up in Grandfield and graduated from Grandfield High School. She married Howard L. Greer on December 25, 1938 in Frederick, Oklahoma. They lived in Grandfield after their marriage until they moved to Ardmore, Oklahoma in 1962. Dorothy worked for the Ardmore Credit Bureau for a number of years in the credit department. In the mid 1970’s, upon retirement, she and her husband returned to Grandfield. Mr. Greer died on December 13, 1990. She married Bill Bolton on January 25, 1992. She was a member of the First Baptist Churches in Ardmore and Grandfield.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Bolton of Grandfield, one son, Howard Greer, Jr. of Palm Springs, CA; one daughter and son-in-law, Sue Ann and Greg Thompson; one step son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Sue Bolton of Grandfield, Oklahoma; two step daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Tommy Shackelford of Krum, Texas and Diana and Crayton Neufeld of Wiggins, Colorado; one sister, Jetty Matranga of California; one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Michael and Lori Thompson, one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Julie and Matt Davis; two step grandsons and one step daughter-in-law, Steven and Paula Shackelford, and Kyle Bolton, three step granddaughters and two step grandsons-in-law, Shala and Tyler Burdette, Christy and Chad Teter and Krystal Bolton, three great grandchildren, Tyler, Tanner, and Tatum Thompson; four step great grandchildren, Brooklin and Austin Shackelford and Ashlee and Austin Burdette.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Edith Parks and Henryetta Jones, two brothers, Bill Lasley and J. D. Lasley.

A special visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2008 at the Gray Funeral Home in Grandfield.
