Funeral service for Willie Beaty Jr. "Domino Daddy", 68, of Lawton, will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2009, at the First United Methodist Church at 2602 NW Ferris Ave. with Pastor Darwin D. McHenry, officiating.

Willie Beaty Jr. died on April 14, 2009 in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Lawton, Oklahoma under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Willie Beaty Jr. was born July 14, 1940 to Willie and Alpha Dockins Beaty in Clarksville, TX. He attended Cheatum High School. Willie successfully completed and received a certificate from Vo-Tech in air conditioning and refrigeration. In 1961, he married Booker Jean Gilbert. He worked for Affees as an electrician for 35 years until he retired in July of 1995. Willie accepted the Lord at an early age and was a member of St. Elmo Baptist Church. He taught Sunday School and YWA boys for many years. Willie later met his companion Edna in 1986 and they were together until his passing.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Edna, of the home, four beautiful children: Gwendolyn (Gwen), Willetta Jean (Loa) and her husband, Garland, Willie III (Mr. Willie), all of Lawton, OK and Alpha Ann (Mrs. Ann) and her husband, Adam Cato, of San Diego, CA ; two sisters; Elnora Wooten of Lawton, Ok and Oleta Hurd of Clarksville, TX; 14 grandchildren; Darnell Russell, Ytanisha Solomon, Donald Beaty, Allen Russell, Ebony Beaty, Mercedes Beaty, Willie Beaty, IV, Shawnte Cato, Dominique Beaty, Christopher Beaty, Satin Smith, Alicia Smith, Jamell Smith and Taylor Williams; and two great grandchildren: Jamiere Montgomery and Javall Coleman.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Berthena Banks; and his brothers, George Dockins and Lancolia D. Dockins.

A special visitation for family and friends will be at 6 p.m til 8 p.m. Sunday, April 19, 2009 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel.
