Funeral service for Blane Dwight Alldredge, 48, of Lawton will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Centenary United Methodist Church with Pastor Nick Lovenberg, of Freedom Christian Fellowship, officiating.
Blane, loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at a local hospital.
Burial will be at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.
There will be a special viewing and visitation for family and friends on Friday, May 1, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Blane was born on September 11, 1960 in Lawton to Darrell and Sue Alldredge. He attended school in Lawton and graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1978. Blane was employed at Goodyear Rubber and Tire since 1981. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, riding his Harley, and having his lab, Sophie, by his side.
Blane is survived by his father, Darrell, Lawton; his brother and sister in law, Brian and Connie Alldredge, Lawton; his maternal grandmother, Ruby Martin, Lawton; his aunts and uncles, Jimmy and Jeanie Alldredge, Lawton, A.B. and Beth Alldredge, Edmond, OK, Althea Alldredge, Anderson, IN, Lucy Timerson, Bridgeton, NJ, Wicky and Hilda Alldredge, Waynesboro, VA, Bill and Mary Alldredge, Lake Lure, NC, Jill Martin, Dallas, Texas, Ronnie and Mary Martin, Meza, AZ, and Bill Martin, Dallas, Texas, numerous cousins; and a host of loving friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Alldredge; his maternal grandfather, Capt. Eston Martin; his paternal grandparents, A.B. and Jewell Alldredge; and his uncle, Dan Martin.
