Graveside service for Robert Lee Adams ,62, of Lawton, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 a.m.., Friday, November, 7, 2008 at Fort Sill National Cemetery with Rev. Danny Martin, chaplain of Hospice Southwest Oklahoma, officiating.

Mr. Adams died Tuesday, November 04, 2008, in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Entombment with military honors will be under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Robert Lee was born on July 21, 1946 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Otho N. and Tina Lee (Sims) Adams. He attended Hirschi High School in Wichita Falls, Texas. He join the United States Army in 1964 and served for 4 years. He was a Vietnam Veteran and served in Korea and was honorable discharged on February 9, 1968. He married Betty S. Pollock on May 8, 1964 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Robert was a welder and worked in Wichita Falls for many years. He was a lifelong resident of Wichita Falls, Texas before moving to Lawton in July of 2005. He was a member of the American Legion and the Assembly of God Church.

He is survived by his wife of the home; his mother in law, Syble Pollock, of the home; his son and daughter in law, Billy Joe and Malinda Adams, of Wichita Falls, Texas; his daughters and sons in law, Sandra and Robert Choate of Chico, Texas, and Cynthia and Robert Hudson of Cache, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Lacey, Nathan, Chris, Sarah, and Ashely; three brothers and a sister in law, Jerry Adams, Ronnie and Sandra Adams, and Jimmy Adams, all of Wichita Falls, Texas; two brothers in law and sisters in law, Ronnie and Jane Pollock and Dennis and Shelley Pollock, all of Lawton, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
