You bring us your images in any form. Still images can be either on a disc or in prints; video either VHS or DVD. Choose from a selection of music. We will design a video unique to the loved one you are remembering, and return all materials intact. We can also insert any messages, captions or titles you desire, and if you wish you can even work hands on with our technician. In the end, you will have a video to be enjoyed by generations for years to come.
Families have long been comforted by the tradition of floral offerings. Long after the service, they continue to receive solace from the expressions of condolence. Our pictorial album offers an ever fresh visual reminder of the beauty of these offerings.
We believe that the basic idea of the memorial experience is to tell the story of the one you remember. For an avid horseman, the room was decorated with his favorite saddle and other tack and memorabilia. For military, various uniforms and artifacts from campaigns are appropriate. The same is true for police and fire fighters. The family of a seamstress might like to display her sewing machine and examples of her work; a quilter’s family always wants to show off their loved one’s beautiful art. Photographers, painters and collectors, of course, have provided you with perfect materials. The only limit to personal decorations is your imagination. Let us work with you.
Many busy families, whose members come from distances, find that they do not have enough time for visiting and expressing appreciation to those who have come for services. Therefore, they enjoy a visitation evening before the day of the service itself. We can provide light refreshments (at no extra cost) or finger foods (nominal fee) here in our facilities. If you wish, we can make arrangements for entire meals to be catered at other locations. All you need to do is tell us when, where (or we can pick the site) and how many.
At Gray Family Services, if you choose cremation, your family member never leaves our facility. We have our own crematory. You can then select one of several memorial options, including all choices available for a traditional service. YOU are always in control; we are here to answer your concerns, to counsel with you, and meet your needs.
We offer a variety of services to appeal to the needs and desires of the families we serve. We also offer a variety of pre-planning opportunities. These choices range from information to be kept on file all the way to various discounted pre-payment methods which relieve families of financial burden during trying times. YOU are in control. Please see our Pre - Arrangement Page for more details.
Families should and do make careful choices to provide the utmost of fitting and honoring services for their loved ones. Just as important to many is the choice of a place of repose. At Sunset, we offer the finest of perpetual care, and can meet any need from traditional ground burial to chapel mausoleum to cremation niches.
For various reasons, many families need the services of an experienced and compassionate minister to help with their memorial choice. With over 35 years of experience in ministry, our Chaplain will work with you in developing the most meaningful service possible.
