Funeral for Doyle R. Bell, 86, of Lawton will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2015, at Cameron Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Teel, pastor, officiating.

Mr. Bell passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 11, 2015, in Lawton.

Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

There will be a special viewing and visitation for family and friends on Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Doyle was born on April 14th, 1929, in Irving, Texas to John and Grace (Lowe) Bell. He married Frances Louise Totty on June 27, 1948, in Lawton.  He worked many years at the Lawton Constitution before retiring in 1991.

Doyle was a Master Craftsman at Woodworking with the ability to bring to life a simple picture in wood, from the simple toy to the complex furniture and 3-D art work.

He was a loving, kind, and amazing husband, father, and grandfather. His greatest joy was his family and friends. He was a good friend to all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving children, Linda Bryant, of Lawton, Vicki Alley of Lawton, Alan Bell and wife, Mary, of Kansas City, Missouri, Christie Marlin and husband, Ken, of Molino, Florida, and Ty Bell and wife, Christine, of Norman; his sister in law, Willie Bell, Garland, Texas; 15 grandchildren, Shannon Williams, Shannon Townsend and husband, David, Tina Bryant, Rusty Bryant, Tasha Cheney, Tayra Steinbacher, Dusty Bell and wife, Kandi, Brian Jakobe and wife, Sheila, Stacey Felz and husband, Joe, Debi Davis and husband, Chad, Michael Marlin and wife, Miriam, Caleb Marlin and wife, Kayleigh, Joshua Marlin, Aaron Bell, and Lauren Bell; 28 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Frances Louise Bell; brother, Royce Bell; and son in law, Joe Alley.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cameron Baptist Church, Legacy Fund at 2621 SW C Avenue, Lawton, OK 73505.
