Angel Luis Pena

Funeral mass for Angel Luis Pena, 80, of Lawton will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Father John Paul Lewis officiating. 

Mr. Pena passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at his home in Lawton surrounded by his loving family.  

Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. 

A rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at the funeral home.

Due to Covid restrictions, masks and social distancing are required at the funeral, church and cemetery.

Angel was born on June 19, 1940 in Puerto Rico to Teofilo Robles and Maria (Pena) Pereira. He was raised in Puerto Rico until the age of 18 when he moved to New York joining his family. He lived and worked in New York for 36 years with his beloved wife, Ana M. Calderon of 54 years. They then returned to Puerto Rico and he owned and operated a Cantina before retiring in 2016. He and Ana then moved to Lawton to be near their daughter, Anna and their grandchildren. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. 

He is survived by his wife, Ana, of the home; his sons, Luis Pena, Eddie Pena, Luis Alberto Arzuaga, Alberto Garcia, and Ellis Manuel Garcia; his daughters, Migdalia Trevino, Nancy Trevino, Carmen Garcia, and Anna Pena; his brother, Luis Alberto Rodriguez; and his grandsons, Angel Carlos, Elliot, Luis, Jr., Andrew, Ellis, Jr., Jerome, and Luisito, Hector, Tommy, and Nathaniel; his granddaughters, Amanda, Samantha, Laura, Genesis Marie, Paola, Amanda Sophia, Molly Jane, Gabriela, and Crystal;  and many great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.   

He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Angel Rene Pena; his daughter, Bilma Iris Santiago; brothers, Teofilo Robles, Jr., Jesus Robles, and Nicholas Robles; and sisters, Maria Dolores Robles, Maria Christina Robles, Rosa Maria Pena, and Petra Pena; and  grandsons, Johnny and Sebio.
