Debbie Dixon

Memorial service for Debbie Dixon, 64, of Lawton, Oklahoma will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Dixon passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024. 

Debbie was born on December 6,1959 in Ausmushausen, Germany to Jack and Paula (Kurowski) Mendonsa. She grew up in Germany until her teenage years when her family moved to Lawton where she finished school at Lawton High School. After graduating, Debbie took some college courses and began working as a sales associate for Sears and later Wal-Mart. She enjoyed riding motorcycles in her younger years. Mrs. Dixon had a green thumb and took pride in growing house plants and flower gardens. Family game nights, playing board games with her children and grandchildren were a favorite past time. She loved to read and study the Bible. Debbie loved animals, especially her pets, Heidi, Paco, and Bella. She lived by the motto to live free and be peaceful. 

Mrs. Dixon is survived by her son, Jacob Miller and fiance, Shelby; daughter, Christina Bartholomew; grandchildren, Michaela Bartholomew, Izaiah Macias, and Audriana Macias; brother, Danny and Joanne Mendonsa; sisters, Iris and Kevin Bel and Carmen and Ken Donahue. 

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Wolfgang Kurowski.
