Donovan Jamal Moncree

Word has been received of the death of Donovan Jamal Moncree, 23, of Lawton. 

Donovan passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 in Lawton. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date. 

Donovan was born on March 11, 2001 in Lawton, Oklahoma to John L. and Monika (Kabus) Moncree. He grew up in Lawton where he attended school, graduating from Lawton High School in 2020. He worked at McDonald's for a while and later worked at UPS where he had been for the last three years as a truck loader. He loved music and watching YouTube. He was hard working and very protective of his family. Donovan had a contagious smile and laugh and a loving heart and would do anything for anyone.  

He is survived by his mother, Monika Moncree, of Lawton, Ok; his father, John Moncree, of Louisiana; his brother, Cameron Moncree, of Lawton, OK; four sisters and their spouses, Lisa Moncree and Joshua West and their children, Aaliyah, Rain, and Maverick; Denicha and Terrance Gibson and their children, Leo and Laney; Natalie and Anthony Feagrin, and their children, Jayden and Caden; Mikaela Moncree; numerous other loving relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
