Jack Wayne Stuckey died Saturday, July 15, 2017 in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 79.

A Special Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. on Monday, July 17, 2017 at the Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Lawton. Pastor Lance Smith will officiate the service.

Jack will be laid to Rest following his service at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery of Lawton, OK.

Jack was born April 11th, 1938 in Fredrick, Oklahoma to Robert and Nora Stuckey. He attended Chattanooga High School and graduated in 1956. He married Linda McLain in Lawton, OK and together they lead an active life in the rodeo industry. Jack started off in the rodeo arena by riding bulls and bareback horses. Later on he became a pick up man for both Terry Wall and the Bucking S Rodeo companies. Jack worked for Jake Adair plumbing for ten years and Earl Glover for over twenty years. Jack was known around the area as the go to cowboy; when folks had stray cattle out, Jack was the one they called to come help round them up. Jack was very involved with and is one of the past presidents of the Lawton Rangers Rodeo. Jack loved watching Bobby and Shari's young bulls buck and enjoyed his trips to Las Vegas and the PBR. He was very much involved with everything his Grandchildren did, including driving numerous miles to sporting events, stock shows and rodeos. Jack was a very devoted and loving husband, father, and PaPa.

Jack is survived by his children: Jeff Stuckey and his wife Glenda, of Duncan, OK, Bobby Pillow and his wife, Shari, of Rattan, OK and Tammie Newsome of Lawton, OK. His grandchildren: Cassidy Teague and her husband, Steven of Wichita Falls, TX, Katie Newsome, of Lawton, OK, Jessica Rowan and her husband, Kiel of Marlow, OK, and Judge Stuckey of Midwest City, OK. He has 5 beautiful great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sisters and brother-in-law Lavada and John Powell of Lawton, OK and Jackie Littrell, all from Lawton, OK.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, his brothers; Billy and Jerry Stuckey and his sisters: Shirley Strecker and Carol Walker.
