Jeffrey David Asbery

Jeffrey David Asbery, 51, of Burkburnett, TX passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017, in Wichita Falls, TX.

Memorial Service will be Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Gray Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ronnie Morgan officiating.

Jeff was born November 27, 1965 in Wichita Falls, TX, to David Baxter and Marion Geraldine (Greenway) Asbery. He grew up in Grandfield. He attended Grandfield Public School, graduating with the Class of 1985. Jeff attended the American School of Truck Driving at Lawton, OK. He married Ellen Earley on June 8, 1985, in Grandfield. He was employed by Fed Ex as a ground driver for some years. He was also employed at O'Reilley's and at Naylors. He loved to ride the back roads and go for drives in the country. He liked to work outside with his plants and flowers. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Grandfield.

Survivors include three sons, Jeffrey Tyson Asbery of Wichita Falls, TX, Matthew Paul Decker of Lawton, OK, Connor Stephen Decker of Wichita Falls, TX; two daughters, Paige Nicole Asbery and Chelsea Scharles Asbery Wharff and husband Glenn, all of Wichita falls, TX. one sister Lori Ann Moore and husband Shannon of Burkburnett, TX, four grandchildren, ShaNiyah Marie Taylor, Jase Tyson Asbery, Glenn William Wharff and Jaxxon Tobias Decker.

He was preceded in death by his parents David and Jerry Asbery and one brother Gerald Asbery.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
