Juan G. Castillo

Juan G. Castillo, 85, of Brownwood, TX, and formerly of Grandfield,  passed away Friday, November 20, 2020, in San Angelo, TX.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., at Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dilma of Dallas, TX officiating.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing are required at the funeral home and cemetery.

Interment will be in the Grandfield Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gray Funeral Home, Grandfield, OK.

Mr. Castillo was born March 17, 1935 in Allende Coahuila Mexico, to Jose and Agustina (Govea) Castillo. He grew up and lived in Mexico. He married Ana Rodriguez on May 7, 1954, in Piedras Negras, Mexico. Juan and his family moved to Grandfield in August, 1973. He was a farmer in the Grandfield area. Juan loved his family and his animals very much. He was a loving father, grandfather, and uncle. He attended the Pentecostal Church.

Survivors are his five sons, Carlos Castillo and Anita; of Grandfield; Juan G. Castillo of Brownwood, TX; Paulino Castillo and Lupe of Grandfield; Eusebio Castillo and Joann of Bangs, TX; Roberto Castillo and Claudia of Brownwood, TX; two daughters, Juanita Hernandez and Miguel of Brownwood, TX; Dora Elia Castillo of Wichita Falls, TX; four sisters, Oralia Martinez of Del Rio, TX; Amelia Castillo of Comanche, TX; Pime Ramirez of Mason, TX; Estela Govea of Mexico; 24 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Juan was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, four brothers, and one sister.
