Lois Henry

Funeral service for Lois Henry 89, of Lawton will be at 10:00 am Thursday June 8, 2017 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Dawson officiating. 

There will be a special visitation on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Henry passed away on June 2, 2017, with her family who was her greatest joy in life, by her side.  

Burial will be at Apache Cemetery, Apache, Oklahoma. 

Lois was born October 30 1927, in Fletcher, OK to Lenard and Georgia ( Blane) Flood.  She grew up in Fletcher and moved to Lawton where she spent most of her life with her beloved husband Hamp Henry who she married on May 31, 1946 in Tacoma, Washington. They enjoyed 64 years of companionship, fishing, and picnicking together until his passing on June 25, 2010.   Lois was dedicated to her family and would do anything for them. They were the sunshine of her life.  She was a truly caring mother, friend, and person. She will be sorely missed. 

She leaves behind two daughters, Betty Cloughly of Austin, and  Dorothy Norwood,  of Lawton; five grandchildren, Sharon Hill, Kelly Cloughly, Brian Cloughly, Bobby Furlow, and Jody Johnson; and 13 great grandchildren. 

Lois was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two daughters, Mary Hill and Judy Friend.
