Mary Frances (Wyatt) McAdooDecember 22, 1920 ~ September 27, 2017 (age 96)
A Graveside service for Mary Frances McAdoo, 96 of Lawton, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 2, 2017 at Sterling Cemetery in Sterling, Oklahoma with Pastor George Weber officiating.
Viewing will be all weekend, with a special visitation from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday October 1, 2017 in the Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. McAdoo departed this world to be with her heavenly Father on September 27, 2017.
Mary Frances McAdoo was born on December 22, 1920 in Fletcher, Oklahoma to Alden Clinton Wyatt and Sallie Bentley Wyatt. She grew up in Sterling, graduating from Sterling High School. She married Louis F. McAdoo on December 21, 1947. Mary worked as a civil servant at Fort Sill for 31 years and 10 months, and loved to travel. Her favorite places to go were Branson, Missouri and Las Vegas, Nevada. She loved the show "Dancing With The Stars", and enjoyed spending time with and cooking lunch for her granddaughter. She was a sweet, loving, and kindhearted person who will be missed greatly.
She is survived by her son, Robert McAdoo and his wife Vicki, of Cache, OK; her granddaughter, Michelle and her husband Jonathan Sierra, Of Cache, OK; her great grandchild, coming in April; her nephews; Ray Wyatt of Elgin,OK, Wes Wyatt and his wife Paula of Elgin, OK, and Tom Wyatt and his wife Gwen of Marietta, OK.; her niece Linda Chaney and her husband Randy of Anadarko, OK; her cousin; Terry Bainbridge of Lawton, OK and her dog, Milo.
Memorial contributions may be made out to the Sterling Cemetery Beautification Fund at 6782 NE 210th St. Lawton, Oklahoma, 73507, and also to the American Heart Association at P.O. Box 1563, Topeka, Kansas 66601.
