Funeral service for Rev. Gary Kim Kerley, of Prescott, Arizona will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Lawton First Assembly.
Rev. Gary Kim Kerley died in his home Saturday, September 9, 2017 in Prescott, AZ at the age of 61.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.
There will be a special viewing and visitation for family and friends on Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Kim Kerley was born on June 26, 1956 in Duncan, OK. He graduated from Empire High School in 1974 and attended Oklahoma University. He married Roxanne in 1992 in Bakersfield, CA. They established free summer camps in Duncan, OK from 1998 through 2012. They established a food outreach for Stephens County from 2002 - 2016. They also hosted events such as annual Fishing Derby, Christmas Surprise, a monthly ladies meeting, a prison ministry and they were pastor of Living Waters Church in Duncan, OK.
In 2013, the ministry was moved to Camp Wamatochick in Prescott, AZ, hosting free camps for disadvantaged children and single parent families.
Kim is survived by his wife, Roxanne and son, Calvin of Prescott, AZ, daughter Mary Jane Hall and grandchildren, Michael and Ally of Bakersfield, CA, daughter and son in law, Bethany and James Hall, grandchildren, Jonathan, Jake, Jayden and Kaleigh of Moore, Ok, mother and stepfather, Joy and Don Burchett of Prescott, AZ, sister and brother in law, Karla and Terry Craft of Prescott, AZ, nephews, Kyle Lewis of Denver, CO, Collin Lewis of Brooklyn, NY and Chaz Rains of Duncan, OK. He was proceeded in death by his father, Bud Kerley of Duncan, OK.
