Sammy, Jimmy Johnson and my late husband Bill Price were close friends growing up. Sammy and Jimmy are namesakes of our youngest son, Samuel James. Bill often recounted fond memories of their years together. Sammy had spent significant amounts of time with us over the years and was a big part of our lives. He was so excited to share the news of his marriage to Linda, with me and was looking forward to getting together in mid September so we could meet. We loved him very much and my heart is heavy with his loss. My prayers to all his family and friends in this time of loss. May God grant perfect peace in their grief.

My condolences to Sammy's family. I knew Sammy from Jefferson, Central and Lawton High and he was a old friend of my brother Jim Johnson. Jim plans to be at the service Tuesday. From what I remember of Sammy, he was a good guy.
