Wanda Faye Myers

Funeral service for Wanda Faye Myers, 84, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 17, 2017, at Cameron Baptist Church, with Rev. Mike Teel officiating.

Wanda passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Burial will be held at Rock Creek Cemetery under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Wanda was born on June 13, 1932 in Stephens County, Oklahoma to Charlie Gilbert Leonhardt and Rena Jewel (Ketchum) Leonhardt. She married Donald Ray Myers on October 15, 1949, in Lawton, Oklahoma. She worked as a cook for Lawton Public Schools for 15 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Jean Myers, of Bothell, WA, and Kathryn Sue Featherston, of Albuquerque, NM; one son, Donald Kent Myers and his wife, Keli, of Washington, MO; one brother, Everett Cleo Leonhardt of Duncan, OK; two granddaughters, Callie Nicole Tankersley and her husband, Chance, of Washington, MO and Cameron Danielle Myers of Kansas City, MO; two grandsons Caleb Dewayne Myers and his wife, Katy, of Cincinnatti, OH and Matthew Hunter Hubert-Lott of Albuquerque, NM; and two great-grandsons; Cordas Levi Tankersley and Everett Joel Tankersley of Washington, MO.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Myers; and her parents.
