Memorial service for Janice Chleon Hill, 78, of Lawton, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Cameron Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Teel, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hill passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 201 4 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Janice was born on June 14, 1935 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Leon and Chleota (Parrish) Copeland. She grew up in Lawton where she went to Lincoln Elementary School, Central Junior High School, and Lawton High School, graduating in 1953. Janice attended Cameron College where she was a sorority member of Beta Sigma Phi. She married James A. Richardson on March 1953 in Lawton, Oklahoma and she later married B.J. Hill on March 1973 in South Texas. She worked as an office manager. Janice was a faithful member of Cameron Baptist Church.
She never met a person she did not like or love, and she was a strong woman.
Janice is survived by her children, Deborah Spears, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jeanie Richardson, of Lawton, Oklahoma, James Russell Richardson, of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Jack Andrew Richardson, of Baltimore, Maryland; sister, Jerry Ann Pulunkett, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandchildren, David, Traci, Phillip Lance, Tonia and her husband, Chris, Elizabeth, and her husband, Juilo, Lynnsey, Kalynn, and Rachael; great grandchildren, ReAnna, Jessica, Chyanne, Baby T, Melina, Allison, Abbigail, and Boston; and a host of other loving family members.
Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her parents, and both of her husbands.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Cameron Baptist Legacy Program at 2621 C Ave., Lawton, OK 73505.
