Albert R. Hernandez

Albert R. Hernandez, 59, of Grandfield, OK passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021 in Lawton, OK.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Grandfield, OK with Dwight Parker, officiating.

Interment will be at Grandfield Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gray Funeral Home.

Viewing and visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2021 at Gray Funeral Home Chapel.

Albert R. Hernandez was born April 16, 1962 in Frederick, OK to Richard B. and Elvia (Ramirez) Hernandez Sr. He lived in Grandfield all of his life and graduated from Grandfield High School in 1981. Albert did farm work and also worked at Metzler's, the Grandfield Sock Factory, for Tillman County, and for Superior Pallet Company. He loved fishing, hunting, gardening, collecting antiques and knives, and woodworking. Albert was an avid pool player and loved to sing karaoke.

Survivors include his brother, Richard R. Hernandez Jr. and his wife, Araceli, of Frederick; his sister, Lucy Gomez of Grandfield; his nieces, Nora, Martha, April, Viviana, Jade, and Jaci; and his great nephew, Easton.

Albert is preceded in death by his parents, Richard B. and Elvia (Ramirez) Hernandez Sr., and his sister, Anita Gardener.
