Alexander Hunter

Funeral Mass for Alexander Patrick Hunter, 25 of Lawton will be at 12:00 p.m on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Philip Seeton officiating. 

Alexander passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 in Marlow, Oklahoma.  

Arrangements are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. 

Alex was born on April 2, 1993 in Regina Saskatchewan, Canada to Elissa Jean Hunter. He lived in Canada until he was eight years old when he and his family came to Lawton. He attended Geronimo Road Elementary School, MacArthur Junior High School and MacArthur High School, graduating in 2013. Alex loved to swim and was a member of the Special Olympics Swim Team. He participated in the Giddy Up 'N Go Organization where he loved horseback riding and attended Camp Cowabunga for years. He loved music and musical toys.  Alex attended Holy Family Catholic Church.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Elissa Hunter, of the home; his sister and brother in law, Jocelyn Hunter and Jordan Rose, of Orlando, Florida; his grandmother, Jean Hunter, of Regina Saskatchewan, Canada; his nephew, Jaxson Rose, of Orlando, Florida;  and his special caregiver, "Nana" Myrna Gonzales, of Regina Saskatchewan, Canada.    

Memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics of Lawton at 3603 NE Madison Ave.
