Annie Christine Crossland

Annie Christine Crossland, 89, of Okeene, Ok, formerly of Grandfield, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 in Okeene.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2021, at the Grandfield First Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Nickel, pastor, officiating. 

Burial will be at the Grandfield Memorial Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Gray Funeral Home, Grandfield, OK.

Annie Christine (Noe) Crossland was born December 20, 1931, in Bessemer, AL to Charlie Earnest and Gladys Elvira (Goodwin) Noe.
She grew up in Hopewell, AL, where she attended school.  Ann never had children of her own, but she was a mother to many of her nieces and nephews.  She married Lloyd Crossland in 1971 in Watonga, OK.  Ann owned and operated restaurants in Watonga and Grandfield for many years.  When she didn't own a restaurant, she was employed by other restaurants.  Ann loved to bake and was known for her peanut butter cakes.

Ann is survived  by  her brother in law, Lewis Allen of Bessemer, AL; her sister, Hazel "Tootsie" Martin of Bessemer, AL; her niece, Ethel "Bootsie" Howard of Watonga, OK; her great great nephew, Ricky "Bub" Petty of Grandfield, OK; and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lloyd Crossland; her brother, Roland Jack "Buddy" Noe; and her sisters, Dorothy Dickinson, Rosie Allen, and Norma Scott.
