Arthur W. Daily

Funeral service for Arthur W. Daily, 102 of Lawton will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Darnell, pastor of Cache Creek Cowboy Church officiating.  

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Eagle Point Cemetery in Nocona, Texas.

Mr. Daily passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019 in Lawton.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Arthur was born on May 31, 1917 in Hugo, Oklahoma and grew up in  Purcell, Oklahoma. He joined the United States Army at the age of 17 and served his country during WWII. He received many awards and medals including the Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with five Bronze Stars, and the American Campaign Medal. After retiring in 1965, he then worked for Civil Service, retiring in 1980. Arthur married Lorraine Tucker on September 1, 1939. She passed away on October 25, 1983.  He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. 

He is survived by his daughters and a son in law, Sue and Terrell Crow and Beth Sales, all of Lawton; his grandchildren, Butch Erricson, Condra and Randy Langford, Mark Erricson, Fred Erricson, and Jerrell and Stephanie Crow; great grandchildren, Angela Gardner and Fiance' Noah Ellis, Katie Langford, April Langford, Kylie Erricson, Kyndell Erricson, Payton Erricson, Grant Erricson, Jobie and Alex Cash and Ethan Crow; great great grandchildren, Avery Gardner, Madysen Gardner, Jaeden Ellis, Jacobi Ellis, Kaegen  Langford, and Kensi Cash. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jonathan and Cynthia Daily; his wife, Lorraine Daily; his daughter and son in law, Linda and Chuck Erricson; his great great granddaughter, Kaylee Langford; four brothers, Jim, John, Bill, and Bob Daily; and two sisters, Grace and Ruth.
