Bailey Chaston Taylor

Memorial service for Bailey Chaston Taylor, 24 of Lawton will be at 11:00AM on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Dayspring Community Church in Lawton, Oklahoma with Kirk Givens officiating. 

A private family interment will follow at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Oklahoma under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.  

Bailey was born on January 5, 1996 at Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Brandi Kay Dodd and Brandon Lee Taylor. Bailey attended school in Yukon, graduating from Yukon High School in 2014. He then attended Redlands Community College in El Reno, Oklahoma. 

Bailey then moved to Lawton in 2015 to be closer to his mom. Shortly after meeting Ashley Marie Annalee Kroeger in 2016. Bailey and Ashley married on April 6, 2018 in Lawton, Oklahoma. Bailey enlisted in the United States Army in July 2018 as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Specialist. Upon his return, he then attended Great Plains Technology Center in pursuit of his A Plus Certification. He enjoyed hunting, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. 

He is survived by his wife, Ashley Taylor, son, Aiden James Taylor, his fur baby, Shadow all of the home; his mother, Brandi Dodd, of Lawton, OK; his father, Brandon Taylor, of Oklahoma City, OK; his maternal grandmother, Penny Dodd, Lindsay, OK; his maternal grandparents, Eddie and Dawn Dodd, of Comanche, TX; his paternal grandparents, June and Lynn Prescott, of Yukon, OK; his maternal great grandmother, Karen Collins, of Lindsay, OK; his maternal great grandparents, Guy and Betty Dodd, of Lawton, OK; his Uncle Dylan, his Aunt Heather and daughters Morgan and Camdyn Dodd, along with many other aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving family members. 

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Steve Taylor; maternal great grandfather, Joseph Collins; and paternal great grandfather, Bill Taylor.
