Bakari McKinney

Celebration of Life for Bakari McKinney will be at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 21, 2021 in the chapel of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home, in Lawton, Oklahoma. 

Bakari passed away Wednesday, December 15th, 2021, in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Bakari was born on May 24th, 1980 to Carvin Brown Sr. and Vivian (McKinney) Brown in  Sylacauga, Alabama. He grew up and attended school in Lawton, Oklahoma and graduated from Eisenhower High School. He was an avid video gamer and enjoyed being around his family.

Bakari is survived by his father, Carvin Brown, Sr. of Lawton; brothers, Carvin Brown Jr. (Kasinda) of Lawton, Jon Brown of Lawton, Christopher McKinney (Yasonda); aunt, Teresa Gilder plus a host of other loving family and friends.

Mr. McKinney was preceded in death by his mom, Vivian Brown; sister, Lelanii McKinney.
