Barbara Rose Shackelford

Word has been received of the passing of Barbara Rose Shackelford, 85, of Duncan, Oklahoma. 

Mrs. Shackelford passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at her home in Duncan, Oklahoma. 

No services are planned at this time. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. 

Barbara was born on November 24, 1937 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Theodore and Reggie (Moody) Harrison.  She grew up in the Chickasha and Lawton areas where she attended school. She married Bobby Shackelford on December 13, 1952 in Lawton, Oklahoma and they lived in the Lawton/ Duncan area. She was a homemaker and enjoyed working in her garden and watching golf. 

She is survived by her husband, of almost 70 years, Bobby Shackelford, of the home; her son, Bobby Shackelford, Jr, of Okemah, Oklahoma; and her brother, Teddy Harrison.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Charlie Harrison and Donnie Harrison; and her sister, Rita Harrison.
