Caroline Sue Nichols

April 14, 1945 ~ July 2, 2018 (age 73) 73 Years Old

Tribute

Caroline Sue Nichols, our beloved Mama (pronounced Maw-Maw), went home to be with the Lord on July 2, 2018 in Ozark, Missouri. She was born on April 14, 1945 and raised by Everett and June Weathers in Winfield, Kansas where she met the love of her life, Tommy Nichols. She was a strong and loving mother to three ornery boys, who survived many tragedies.

She was a proud grandma of seven and great-grandma of seven. She loved the holidays and family gatherings; any chance to get to spend time together was important to her. She spent hours cooking with love and preparing the decorations so that the holiday spirit filled the air as you walked into her home. Caroline enjoyed participating in activities with the Red Hatters in Ozark, Missouri, which included weekly lunches. She also enjoyed her monthly bunco meetings where she was able to be surrounded by laughter and friendship. She will be remembered for her vibrant and one of a kind personality. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son Bradley Nichols and wife Michelle of the home, daughter-in-law Sheila Nichols of Mesquite, TX, sisters Loretta King and husband Ralph, Cris Mobley and husband Carl, and Sherry Miller. She is also survived by one grandson, Mitchell Bagley, six granddaughters, Melissa Nichols, Samantha Allred and husband, Samuel, Stephani Duerst, Brittany Cheek and husband Josh (pronounced Josh-e-pooh), Ashlie Marshall, and Tiffany Nichols; as well as four great grandsons Kobe Nichols, Hunter Duerst, Steven Allred, and Kolby Cheek, and great granddaughter Aubree Duerst. Along with other numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by parents Everett and June Weathers, Husband Tommy Nichols, sons Gregory Nichols and Steven Nichols, Brothers Charles Weathers, Wesley Weathers, Dwayne Weathers, Grandson Brian Shields, and Great grandsons Kaisen and Keegen Nichols.

A special thanks to the special care that was given to Caroline by her niece Roxanna Lambert.
