Christine Joy Hubert

Funeral service for Christine Joy Hubert, 90, of Lawton will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Mallow, officiating.  

Mrs. Hubert passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017 in Lawton.

Burial will be at Highland Cemetery.

Christine was born on September 15, 1927 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma. Her parents were Autry and Viola (Lankford) Gurganious. She grew up in Rush Springs where she attended school. She was a devoted christian and was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. Christine enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing and loved spending time with her grandchildren. 

She is survived by four sons daughters in law, Edward Basonic, of Lawton, OK, Steve and Frances Basonic, of Cameron, TX, Ronnie and Jo Ellen Hubert, of Houston, TX, and John Hubert, of Lawton, OK; her daughters in law, Debra Hubert, of Sterling, OK and Patricia Hubert, of Lawton OK, her sister, Sylvia Anderson, of Lawton, OK; grandchildren and their spouses, James and Andrea Hubert, Shanon and Larry Hargis, Michelle Dennis, and Richard Hubert; and numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Peggy Hubert; her son, James Hubert; her grandson, Andre Vaden; her granddaughter, Amanda Hubert; and her brother, Floyd Gore.
