Cleo Hettie Wheeler

Funeral service for Cleo Hettie Wheeler, 97, of Lawton will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Jones retired pastor officiating.

Mrs. Wheeler passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018 in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Cleo was born July 1, 1921 in Meers, Oklahoma to John and Mary (Meeks) Hall. She grew in the Cache area where she attended school, graduating from Cache High School. She married Glen Wheeler in 1940 and they made Lawton their home. Cleo reared three children and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Carroll Wheeler, of Morganton, North Carolina; her sister, Barbara Mannen; and her grandson, Jonathan Wheeler, of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glen who passed away in 2004; her daughter, Jerry Hearn; and her son, Glen Wheeler.
