Craig Xavier Miles

Funeral service for Craig Xavier Miles, 61 of Lawton will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Elder David Butler and Minister Rosa Butler officiating. 

Mr. Miles passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018 in Lawton.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Friday, February 23, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.   

Craig was born on October 26, 1956 in Port Arthur, Texas to Clinton Miles, Sr. and Hilda (Linden) Miles. The family came to Fort Sill, Oklahoma where Craig attended Lawton High School and was on the wrestling team. After graduating high school, he then began working for Cantu Services on Fort Sill where he has been a civilian cook for over 40 years. Craig was passionate about playing the guitar and enjoyed playing tennis and bowling.

He is survived by five brothers, Clinton Miles, Jr. and wife, Rose, of Titusville, FL, Corwin Miles and wife, Toni, of Hesperia, CA, Cornell Miles, of Salina, KS, Carl Miles of Inglewood, CA and Crinard Miles, of Hesperia, CA; four sisters, Deborah Brown, of Phoenix, AZ, Demaris Rone, of Lawton, OK, Denise Green and husband, Geoffrey, of Lawton, OK, and Duwannah Williams, of Lawton, OK; his aunt, Katherine Tanner, of Houston, TX , his aunt and Godmother, Velma Fowler, of Oakland, CA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of loving friends.       
He was preceded in death by his parents; aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins.
