Curtis Ray Harjo Johnson, aka "Spagohgee" and "Pork and Beans" was born in Lawton, Oklahoma on May 3, 1964 and went to his Heavenly home  on December 22, 2021 in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Cameron Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Curtis in Lawton will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Cameron Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Teel officiating.

A wake service will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at the Kialegee Life Center, Wetumka, OK.  

Funeral service in Wetumka will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the Kialegee Life Center, 100 Kialegee Dr., Wetumka, OK 74883 with Rev. Mark Smith officiating.

Burial will follow at Salt Creek Cemetery Wetumka, Oklahoma under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Curtis was raised in Wetumka, Oklahoma by his parents Henry and Judy (Wesley) Harjo. He attended school at Wetumka, Eufaula and Strothers were he graduated in 1984. He then attended Oklahoma Jr. college October 1985- January 1988 and obtained an Associates in Applied Science major in management with option in marketing. Curtis furthered his education and attended OSU-OKU fall of 2000 for an Associates in Applied Science Major in police science and the attended Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma and studied psychology.

Curtis played sports in school and his favorite was baseball. Growing up he had several childhood friends in his non-violent bicycle gang. 

His favorite rock group was Kiss and his favorite member was Ace Frehley which explains why he received and "A" in guitar in high school. 

He had two diabetic partners in crime, Rosada Bowden and Aaron Kernell.  

He was active in his church at Cameron Baptist Church. He was a Sunday school teacher for the 6th grade student ministry, member of  Cameron Evangelical Explosion team responsible for sharing Christ with others involved with visitation ministry and recently celebrate recovery ministry. Curtis also was active in Ji Jitsu and MMA training.

Curtis proudly served his country for 17 years in the US Army and served two tours in Afghanistan, his last detail was a drill sergeant at Fort Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma. One of his favorite deployment stations was in Germany where he met Pastor Ramirez and wife, Yvonne. He continued serving and became a Police Officer for 15 years, and his last duty was with the Cameron University Police Department for 6 years.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis Johnson; sons Zac and Nic Johnson all of the home; daughters, Jessica Johnson and husband Josh of Piedmont, Oklahoma, Krystle Klein and husband Steven of Shawnee, Oklahoma; sons, Jarell Wise and wife Sheena of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Nakota Tiger of Shawnee, Oklahoma; brothers, Andrew Harjo and wife Janet of Lavaca, Arkansas, Henry Harjo of Wetumka, Oklahoma, Grayling Johnson and wife Mary Lou of Shawnee, Oklahoma, George Johnson and wife Linda of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Bruce Johnson and wife Mona of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Steve Johnson, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Leam and Michelle Johnson, of Tecumseh, OK; sisters, Brenda Harjo of Wetumka, Oklahoma, Phyllis Battle of Ranger, Texas, Vera Johnson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma;  grandchildren, Jose Reyes, Isabel Reyes, Tyla Johnson, Trey Houk, Maddox Wise, Landon & Keeley Wise, Maddie Klein, Aiyanna & Aymia Wise, Aramus Wise, Hermione Tiger; his aunts, Geneva Fixico and Wynona "Hokte". 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Judy (Wesley) Harjo; birth parents, Eugene and Myrtle (Fixico) Johnson; brothers, Melford Hobia, Walter Johnson, and Joe Johnson; sisters, Lois Harjo and Mildred "Baby Girl" Jones; his nephew, Tristan Flanner; and many aunts and uncles.
