Don Lee Wilson

Funeral Service for Don Lee Wilson, 73, of Marlow will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 22, 2017. Services will be held in the Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel.  Pastor Bubba Clark will officiate.

Burial will be at Flowermound Cemetery immediately after his service.

Visitation for Don will begin on Wednesday, December 20 at 1 p.m. and will continue until just prior to his service.

Don was called home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, December 17, 2017.

Don was born in Marietta, Oklahoma on June 8, 1944 to Clyde and Mozelle Wilson.  He graduated from Lawton High School in 1963. He served in the U.S. National Guard from 1964 to 1970."  On October 27, 1965 he and Ann Kinner were united in marriage in Lawton, OK.  Don owned his own sign painting business from 1977-1995.  He then began working for the Lawton Public Schools.  He worked for LPS until his retirement in 2009.  In his leisure time he enjoyed restoring and selling classic cars and trucks.  Don also enjoyed spending time with his family, music, singing, drawing and fishing.

Don is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ann, of the home.  His son: Randy Wilson of Lawton, OK.   His daughter and son in law: Deanna and Eric Gonzalez of Lawton, OK.  His brothers and sisters in law: Randy and Vicki Wilson of Cache, OK and Tommy and Penny Wilson of Cache, OK.  His sisters: Gayle DeLoache of Sapulpa, OK, Jeri Hubner of Little Rock, AR and Linda Wilson-Oates of Lawton, OK.  His Grandchildren: Erick Gonzalez and his wife Kasey of Lawton, OK, Seth Gonzalez who is serving in the U.S. Navy in Yokosuka, Japan, and Anneliese Gonzalez of Lawton, OK.  His great grandchildren: McKenna and Luke Gonzalez, both of Lawton, OK.  He also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Alan Wilson, and his brothers in law, Sam Oates and Art Hubner.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his name to The American Diabetes Association.
