Donald George Harrison

Graveside service for Donald George Harrison will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lawton, OK. Pastor Al Christian will officiate. 

Mr. Harrison passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019 in Tulsa, OK. 

Don was born on November 13, 1938 in Comanche County, Oklahoma to Dan and Gladys Harrison.  Don worked for the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority and after retirement he and his wife moved to Catoosa to live closer to their son and his family. He enjoyed John Wayne movies, watching Gunsmoke, attending family reunions, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife,  Carmen Flynn Harrison of Catoosa; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Tonia Harrison of Catoosa. He also leaves behind one sister, Jewell Christian of Lawton; Grandchildren, Rachel Harrison and Nicholas Langford of Catoosa,  Joshua Hutchins and Benjamin Burgamy of Tulsa.  Along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Gladys Harrison;  Brothers, Gene Harrison, Mac Harrison, and Dearl Harrison; and sisters, Ruth Hennessee, Lois Boice, Helen Lewis, Shirley Batson, and Laquita Graham.
