Tribute

Memorial service for Elaine Gellner Fisher, 75 of Burkburnett, Texas, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, December 5, 2022 at Gray Funeral Home Chapel, Grandfield, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Fisher passed away on December 2, 2022, in Burkburnett, Texas. She had been in poor health for a number of years.

Elaine was born on January 28, 1947, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Growing up in Randlett, Elaine graduated from Big Pasture School where she proudly served as football queen. Shortly after graduation, Elaine married Carrol Fisher and made a home in Randlett. They had two children, Roger and Carla.

Elaine was one of the many women who worked at the Haggar Slack Factory in Temple. Elaine showed her initiative, moving up through the ranks at Haggar. After the plant closed, she traveled to other Haggar locations, providing training to employees.

Prior to her retirement, Elaine worked for many years at Harvest Drug. Moving with them from Grandfield to Burkburnett to Wichita Falls, Elaine maintained a detailed list of her clients, ensuring excellent service. Elaine brought her natural artistic talent to Harvest, especially when decorating during the Christmas season at Harvest.

After retirement, Elaine enjoyed her grandchildren, Ty, Trace, and Taylor. Elaine was known for her delicious meals and the creativity she brought to her cooking. Whenever you saw Elaine, you knew she cared about her appearance as she was always well dressed. Also, if you knew Elaine, she especially enjoyed her favorite movies, Gone with the Wind, Titanic, and Tombstone.

Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Fisher, her grandson, Trace Fisher, her brother, Junior Gellner, and her parents, Pershing and Alta Faye Spillers Gellner.

Elaine is survived by her son, Roger Fisher, wife Kayla, and son, Ty; her daughter, Carla Gebhart and daughter Taylor; her brother, Randy Geller, wife Sherry, son Rusty, and daughter Stacy; and her sister, Becky Trammell and husband Leo; and her nephews, Jeremy and Justin Gellner.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Fairview Cemetery in Randlett, Oklahoma.
