Eva Ruth Kirby

Memorial service for Eva Ruth Kirby, 82 of Grandfield will be at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Gray Funeral Home, Grandfield, Oklahoma with Chaplain Steven Gillispie officiating.  

Mrs. Kirby died Saturday, February 24, 2018, in Frederick, OK.

Eva was born on May 17, 1935 in Dallas, TX to Joseph B. and Gladys (White) Ferguson. She grew up in the Dallas area where she attended school. She worked for the Safeway Food Warehouse for 10 years. She married Junior R. Kirby on July 28, 1969 in Durant, Oklahoma and they moved to Grandfield in 1995. 

She is survived by her husband, of the home; her daughter, Pamela Cherry; her son, Dennis Ferguson; and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Richard West; and her brothers and sisters.
