Military graveside service will be at Duncan Municipal Cemetery at May 4, 2022, 10:00 AM, with Pastor Ben Grissom presiding. 
Viewing will start at May 3, 2022, 10:00 AM, , Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home, 632 SW C St. Lawton, OK.  Phone: 580 353-2940. Goldie has asked that potted plants be sent.   
Everett Cleo Leonhardt July 24, 1927 – May 1, 2022 (94 years young). Cleo was the first of two children born to Charles (Charlie) and Rena Jewell Ketchum Leonhardt of Lawton, OK. 
Both Cleo and his father Charlie, served in World War II. Charlie was in the Army and served as a gunner.  Cleo was in the Navy, Seaman Second Class from 1945-46. After his service he resided in Duncan.  He worked for TOSCO Refinery as an electrician and retired after 26 years of service. He was a member of Banner Assembly of God Church in Duncan for many years.  Cleo taught Sunday School classes and loved children.  He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed his hunting dogs.  He enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting, with family, friends, and his dog Bonnie Christmas.     
Cleo is survived by his wife Goldie Phipps, son Richard (Helen) of Detroit, TX; stepchildren Allen and Michael Phipps and Debbra Layman (Duncan, OK); nieces Kathy Featherston (Albuquerque, NM) and Beverly Myers (Bothell, WA),  and nephew Kent (Keli) Myers (Washington, MO).
Cleo was preceded in death by his father and mother, son Randy, spouse Mozelle McMasters of Duncan, OK, and his sister Wanda Myers of Lawton, OK.
