Florence F. Meadors

Graveside service for Florence F. Meadors, 94 of Chelsea, Oklahoma will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Meadors passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at her home in Chelsea, Oklahoma. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. 

Viewing and visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home prior to the graveside service. 

Florence was born on October 28, 1926 in Kauai, Hawaii. She grew up in Hawaii and the famiy traveled with the military to Japan and Missouri before settling in Lawton, Oklahoma. She married John Meadors and they had two children, Linda and Dwight. She loved her family and always greeted her grandchildren with ice cream. John passed away in 2007 and later Florence moved to Chelsea with her son and his wife.       

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Dwight and Sandy Meadors, of the home; her 
grandchildren; and her great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Meadors; and her daughter and son in law, Linda and Don Hoon.
