Frank Frederick Hitchcock Jr.

Word has been received of the death of Frank Frederick Hitchcock Jr, 68 of Lawton.

Mr. Hitchcock passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 in Lawton.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Viewing will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and October 13, 2018 from Saturday, 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. 

No services are planned at this time. 

Frank was born on August 29, 1950 in Scottsboro, Alabama to Frank Frederick Hitchcock, Sr. and Beulah (Johns) Hitchcock. He grew up in Alabama where he attended school. He served in the United States Army for 18 years with three tours in Germany and a tour in Korea. He received many awards and medals. Frank married Suk Chong and they lived overseas and stateside to include Alabama and Kansas while he was in the military. He then became an Electrician and worked for Mastercraft and later was self employed. He moved to Lawton in 2011 to be near his daughter and family. Frank enjoyed woodworking and building model cars and ships. 

He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Frank Frederick Hitchcock III and Debra Hitchcock, of Colorado Springs, CO; his daughter and son in law, Judy and Jeremy Steamer, of Lawton, OK; his brother, Ralph Daniel Hitchcock, of Alabama; his sister, Deloses Hitchcock, of Alabama; and six grandchildren, Samantha Lovelady, Ronny Lovelady, Morgan Hitchcock, Anthony Steamer, Jacob Hitchcock, and William Hitchcock. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Billy Hitchcock.
