Celebration of life for Fred Douglas Swain, 66, of Lawton, will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Starling officiating.
Fred was born on the 13th of November 1955 to Eddie and Wyma (Benton) Swain in Vernon, Texas. Dad is preceded in death by his parents Wyma and Eddie Swain and his son Fred Swain Jr.
Funeral services are under the direct of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Lawton, OK.
Fred Swain left this life, June 15,2022 to go be with our Heavenly Father. He passed away from complications of epilepsy. He had been ill for a long time. Fred put up one hell of a fight. Through it all he stayed faithful and he kept his hand in God's hand.
Fred is survived by his daughters, Wyma Swain- Henry of Lawton, OK, Patricia Swain of Lawton, OK; god-daughter, Donielle Monique Smith; son-in-law, Corey Henry Sr.; three grandsons, Bobby L. Swain, Corey Henry Jr., Jordan Johnson all of Lawton, OK; two granddaughters Nevaeh Granger and Heaven Howard both of Lawton, OK; ex-wife Loretta Swain of Lawton, OK He is also survived by his siblings, Eddie (Darina) Swain of Talpa, TX, Gary (Mari) Swain of Clairborne, TX, Edward Swain of Borger, TX, Billie(Bobby) Starling of Taylor, TX and Joyce (Daryle) Williams of Jarrell, TX plus a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Dad worked all sorts of jobs. From feed yards to janitorial work. He was an artist in his own right. He had so many talents.
Mr. Swain was preceded in death by his parents and son Fred Swain Jr.
