Tribute

Gary Daryl Watson is from Randlett, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Grandfield, Oklahoma. 

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 22 at 4-7pm for all friends and family in the Gray Funeral Home chapel. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 23 at 2pm in the Gray Funeral Home chapel. Following service there will be a graveside burial at Grandfield Memorial Cemetery. 

Gary was born to Glenda Kay (Riley) Dyer and Kenneth Merle Watson in Frederick, Oklahoma on May 20, 1962. Glenda remarried later to Clarence Rex Dyer April 14, 1963 in Wichita Falls, Texas. On September 20, 2021, Gary departed this life in Wichita Falls on at the age of 59 years and 4 months. 

Gary grew up in Grandfield, Oklahoma but later moved to Randlett, Oklahoma, June of 1980, with his parents and siblings. He graduated class of 1981 of Big Pasture High. During this time he met Arie Sue Sales began dating and married on January 4, 1982 in Wichita Falls, Texas and to the union 3 daughters were born. Gary loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Gary worked many hard jobs from a young age, up until he wasn't able to physically work anymore. But he would agree his most challenging and stressful job would be himself being the only man in the house of four girls for many years. 

Gary is preceded in death by his fathers, Clarence Dyer and Kenneth Watson. His daughter’s mother, Arie Watson. A granddaughter, Hannah Turner. A brother, Daniel Watson and a sister, Kenya Davis. A brother-in-law, Chuck Wright. 

Survivors include his mother, Glenda Dyer of Grandfield, Oklahoma. Three daughters Angela and Paul Turner of Randlett, Oklahoma; Jacquelyn Watson of Randlett, Oklahoma; Savanna and husband, Wesley Griffin, of Dean, Texas. His brothers Tony and wife Lisa Dyer of Decatur, Texas; Donald Watson of Wichita Falls, Texas. His sisters Cindy Dyer of Iowa Park, Texas and Nancy Wright of Wichita Falls, Texas. 7 grandchildren Timothy Turner, Mackenzie Turner, Anthony Watson, Gunner Griffin, Natalee Plowick, Cannon Griffin and Johnathon Plowick, and a host of other relatives and friends.
