Graveside service for Glen Dale "Bear Bear" Cummins, 78, of Comanche, Ok will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Lawton with Jack Darnell, pastor of Cache Creek Cowboy Church officiating.
Mr. Cummins passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 in Comanche, Oklahoma.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a special viewing and visitation for family and friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Glen Cummins Sr., 78, Comanche, OK, passed away Wednesday June 2nd, 2021 in Comanche, OK. He was born in Lawton, OK to Glen Leon Cummins and Elenore Smith. Glen was a dedicated worker of the Civil Service and retired after 30 years of service.
He married Donna Elaine Self on May 28th, 1967. They were married for 53 years when she preceded him in death August 15th, 2020. They have three children, one daughter and a set of twins, a boy and a girl. In 1988 they adopted their granddaughter and raised her as their own.
Glen loved spending time with his family fishing and camping, bowling, playing cards, and especially playing dominos. He loved country music, Elvis Presley and 50’s and 60’s music.
One of his favorite bible verses was Isaiah 40:31
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength: They shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.”
Glen is survived by his children, Syndy and Chris Polsgrove of Comanche OK, Stephanie and Jerrell Crow of Lawton OK, Dale and Lisa Cummins of Springdale AR, and Darla and Joey Andrade of El Reno OK. Grandchildren TJ Bennett of Elgin OK, Jace and Courtney Bennett of Chickasha OK, Jobie and Alex Cash of Granite OK, Ethan Crow and Madie White of Rush Springs OK, Joseph, Hailey, and Gabriel Andrade of El Reno OK. Great grandchildren Aiden, Raelynn, Zachary, and Olivia Bennett, Kensi Cash and Eli and Elliot Grigg.
