Gregory Smith

Funeral service for Gregory Clifton Smith, 46 of Lawton, will be held at 2:00 p.m, on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at God's Family Community Church with Pastor Rudolph Johnson officiating. 

Gregory passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017, in Oklahoma City. 

Viewing will begin on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a special viewing and visitation for family and friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Greg was born on November 4, 1970 to Ronald C. Smith and Nancy Coleman in Lawton, Oklahoma. He grew up in Lawton, going to Eisenhower Junior and High School. He worked for Herbs Grocery Store during high school, Farm Fresh in 1991 until it closed in 2004, Buy For Less, and Lawton Public Schools. He married Shannon Wilson on July 5, 1991, in Lawton.

Survivors include his sons: Gregory (Big Boy) C. Smith, Joshua (Joshy) A. Smith, and their mother, Shannon Smith, of Lawton; his mother, Nancy Coleman, of Lawton; his father Ronald C. Smith, and wife Nikki, of Lawton; his step daughter, Sydnei Swanson( Baby Girl ) ; his brothers: John C. Butler, of Lawton, Jerry C. Butler, of Alva, OK, Ronnie Smith, Jr., of Lawton, and Justin Smith, of Yukon; his sisters: Amanda White and husband, Corey, of Corsicana, TX, and Barbie Simpkins, of Lawton; his aunts and their spouses: Pam and Stephen Jennings, Connie and Don Greb, Sheila and Craig Fraley, and Marlene Smith, of Lawton; his uncles and their spouses: Hughie (Buddy) and Michele Pritchett, Curtis and Carnell Pritchett, of Rancho Cucamonda, CA, Dennis and Erin Pritchett, of Lawton; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Hughie and Elizabeth Pritchett, Harry and Mildred Butler, and Marlin and Betty Smith; and step father, Jerry Butler.
