HUNTER AARON RAY MILLER (October 30, 2018-May 29, 2022)
Hunter Aaron Ray Miller was born on October 30, 2018 in Lawton, Oklahoma. From the moment we first laid eyes on his fiery red hair, we knew he would have the spirit to match. God must have known he would need a lot, so he gave him a little extra. When we found out that our sweet boy would have to fight harder than most kids, we knew he was up to the task. Superheroes are always up to the task. He was definitely a superhero.
He loved playing on his tablet and watching Blaze & the Monster Machines on the projector screen simultaneously, waking up Mommy and Daddy in the middle of the night with Blippi and Cocomelon, swinging, playing with trucks and trains, showing off his basketball skills, and his brothers and sisters. His siblings knew how to make him laugh like nobody else could. Mommy and Daddy were his favorite people in the entire world, and every time he saw them, he would get the biggest grin. He had the best smile. He was very smart and knew all of his colors, his ABCs, was learning to count on his fingers, communicate with his tablet, and sign language. His favorite signs were I love you, and mama. His Mimi spoiled him rotten, and he made sure we all knew it. He adored music, and even though he couldn't walk or talk, he knew how to dance. He loved to dance and to watch other people dance for him, especially his Nana Lanna. He was the best dancer!
On Sunday, May 29, 2022, at 3 years, 7 months old to the day, our sweet, smart, dancing, smiling boy fought his final battle and gained a pair of wings that we can only imagine are as big as his will to fight was. While there is no doubt he has won, we have definitely lost.
We find solace in knowing that our prayers were finally answered and he can now do everything in Heaven that his body couldn't do on Earth. We know he is walking, talking, running, playing, and he is dancing with his entire body to the most beautiful music. He is whole and happy, and he is now the ultimate superhero, our angel.
He will forever be loved on Earth by mommy and daddy Amber and Clyde Miller; sissy Brailynn; sister Karissa; brothers Bradley and Dacen; Mimi (Carol) and Papa (Terry); Pappy (David) and Tina; Nana (Lanna); Rai Rai (Raichelle) and Papa Pickles (Chad); Grama (Geri); Nana (Kathy); aunt Amanda and uncle Mitch; uncle Jason; aunt Kayla; uncle Charles (Andy); great godmother Gigi (Janet); and more aunts/uncles, cousins, and family by heart than could ever be named.
He was met with open arms in Heaven by his Poppy (Clyde) and Grama (Aggie); Papa (Cliff); Papa (Gary); Grandma (Jewel) and Grandpa (Troy); Dannie (Owanna) and Papa (Newt); Nanny (Helen); Papaw and Mamaw Miller; Grandad (Howard); uncles Ricky, Mike (Mitchell), Larry, Michael (Day), Randy, and Tony; aunts Pat and Bonnie; and Mommy's best friend "uncle" Jackson.
We want to give an extra SPECIAL love and thanks to his pediatrician Dr. Laura White, the amazing staff at Wonder kids, His teacher Mrs. Angie, the staff at The Learning Tree, and all of his doctors, nurses, and therapists who cared for him just as much as we did, and who were an integral part of his daily life. You made our lives easier, always had his best interests at heart, helped him learn and grow, kept him safe, and we can never find the right words to express how important you all are to us.
