Ingrid Martello

Funeral service for Ingrid Martello, 76, of Lawton will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Harmon of Arena Cowboy Church officiating.  

Mrs. Martello passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018 in Lawton.

Burial will be at Post Cemetery, Fort Sill, Oklahoma. 

There will be a special viewing and visitation for family and friends on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Ingrid was born on November 6, 1941 in Heidelberg, Germany to Otto and Elsa (Buttner) Gaedigk. She married William J. Martello on April 30,1959 in Germany and they lived in many locations with the military. Ingrid received her United States Citizenship in Hawaii in 1965. They returned to the Lawton/Fort Sill area in 1975 and Mr. Martello retired from the Army in 1984. He passed away on April 15, 1990. Ingrid loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed the casino, playing bingo, and bowling. She also enjoyed listening to live music. 

She is survived by her daughters and son in law, Sharon Kay Allen, of Lawton, OK, Karen  and Allen  Granger, of Lawton, OK, and Terry Ann Moore, of Oklahoma City, OK; her brother, Otto Gaedigk, of Germany; her sisters and brother in law, Charlotte M. and James Austin, of MN and Ursula Gardner, of Tacoma, Washington; her grandchildren, Jennifer Granger, Elizabeth Moore and husband, Matthew, Katie Wilson and husband, Zeph, and William Allen; her great grandchildren, Whitney Moore, Brooklyn Moore, and Vanessa Moore; her companion, Patrick Grady, of the home; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and loving friends.    

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William J. Martello; and her brother, Paul Gaedigk.
