James Allan "Jme" Ballard

Funeral service for James Allan "Jme" Ballard, 58, of Lawton will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home with Dennis Dawson officiating.  

Mr. Ballard passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018 in Lawton. 

Jme was born on September 28, 1960 in Kileen, TX to William E. Ballard, Sr. and Dorothy Ballard. The family came to Lawton in1970 and Jme attended school here including Eisenhower High School. Jme loving riding Harley Davidson motorcycles but was paralyzed in  1983 due to a motorcycle accident. He also loved Outhouses as they reminded him of his grandparents. He was very artistic, enjoyed painting, and was known for painting rocks and hiding them in Lawton while posting on Facebook "Lawton Rocks". One of his rocks recently traveled to Pisa, Italy. Jme loved to get every new Disney movie to send to his grandchildren. He cheered for the Kansas State Wildcats and Kansas City Royals where his heart was. He will be missed and "We will always carry your memory in our hearts."   

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Ballard, of Lawton, OK; his daughter, Stephanie Ryals, and husband, Jerrod, of Clay Center, KS; his brothers and sisters in law, Jerry and Beverly Ballard, of Lawton, OK, Chris Ballard, of Lawton, and Patrick and Angela Ballard, of Norman, OK; his sisters and a brother in law, Regina Robles, of Lawton, OK  and Dollie and Ivan Martinez, of Sugarland, TX; four grandchildren, Paxton, Gavyn, Landon, and Brooklyn Ryals; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.   

He is preceded in death by his father, William E. Ballard, Sr.; brother, William E. "Billy" Ballard, Jr; and two nephews, Ricky Miller, Jr. and Steven Ballard.
