Funeral services for Jayondrick “Jay” Jashaun Cater will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 9, 2022 at Dayspring Community Church  with pastor
Dr. Robert F. Dowell  officiating.

Viewing will start, Sunday, May 8, 2022 , at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home, 632 SW C Ave Lawton, OK, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

“Jay” was born July 2, 1990, in Honolulu Hawaii to Johnnie Keith and Anglia Denise Cater. He departed this life on Monday, May 2, 2022.

Raised in Lawton Ok, Jay attended and graduated from Lawton High School in 2009. Always seeking to better himself, Jay obtained a Commercial Driving License (CDL) and was currently attending Great Plains Technology Center to become an Electrician. He was a member of New Life Fellowship in Lawton Ok and confessed Christ at an early age. Jay enjoyed being around his wife and children. His hobbies included fellowshipping with the other members of “Throwed Riders” Motorcycle Club and playing video games. 

He was preceded in death by his Grandmother Bernice B. Harris, Grandfather’s Willie Mac Harris and Johnnie Cross and a host of Aunts and Uncles.

Jay leaves a legacy of love and memory to his wife Marilyn Cater of Lawton, OK, one son Gabriel Cater of Lawton, OK; two daughters Jalayia and Amayah Cater of Lawton, OK; his parents Johnnie and Anglia Cater of Lawton, OK; His In-Laws Mario and Rosa Lilia Julian of Lawton OK;  Grandmother Clareice Cater Cross of Decatur AL and his two brothers Rod Harris of Lawton, OK,  Keith and Emily Harris of Athens, Alabama; his twin sister Jasmine and Landus King of Courtland, AL; a Godmother Zina Davis of Orlando, Florida; a Godson Xavier Northern of Lawton, OK; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, god sisters, god brothers and close friends.
