Jeanette Mildred Hatfield

Memorial service for Jeanette Mildred Hatfield, 78, of Lawton will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. 

Masks and social distancing are required at the funeral home.

Jeanette was born on July 14th, 1942 to Lucille Pike and Levi Little John in Lawton, Oklahoma. She passed away on Friday January 29th, 2021 at the age of 78.

Jeanette who was known as "Nanny" to many, was the sweetest woman you could have ever met. She would give you the shirt off her of her back if she knew you needed it. Nanny was a mother figure to many and was always caring and knew just how to make people happy. She lived a long life and saw a lot of things. In early December she had a near fatal stroke that sent her to the hospital, from there she began recovery and started physical therapy. After a courageous battle she was sent to a long term hospital where they could help her more intensively. She was only there a week before she passed.

She is survived by her brother, Virgil "Arlo 1%er" Nelson', son Doug Hatfield and his wife Nore, Chicago Ill., and her daughter Debbie Hatfield, North Carolina. Granddaughters, Skyler Hatfield, of Lawton, OK, Candice Johnson and fiancé Aaron Franklin, of Oklahoma City, OK, Carlee Hatfield of Stonewall, OK., Jennifer Hatfield-Alaniz and her husband Micheal, Chicago, Ill. and Celebrity Barefoot, North Carolina. Grandsons, Cody Hatfield and Jesse James Hatfield.Great grandchildren, Eli Hatfield, Christopher Alaniz, Johnathon Alaniz, Finnley James Hatefield, Kaitlyn Barefoot, Cameron Barefoot, LaVon’Tre Hatfield and La’Tiauna Franklin;her son in laws Jason Johnson and Jeremy Leonhardt and many more loving family members.

She is now reunited with her husband, Herbert Hatfield; mother, Lucille Pike; daughter, Monica Hatfield; and her son, Gary Hatfield (Hateful).

She will be missed by many but heaven is so lucky to have her.
