Jefferson Jay "Jeffy" Roberts

Graveside service for Jefferson Jay "Jeffy"  Roberts, 63, of Indiahoma, Oklahoma will be held at 11:00 a.m.,  Saturday, April 23, 2022 at  I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Indiahoma, Oklahoma with Rev. Scott Patton officiating. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Jeffy Roberts of Indiahoma went to be with our Heavenly Father, April 19, 2022 in Oklahoma City after a long illness. His parents were Joe and Mary Jane Roberts, Indiahoma, OK and Patricia (Birge) Hobday, England.

He married Jo Isch on November 25, 1986. Mr. Roberts attended Indiahoma Public School where he graduated in 1976. Jeffy was employed by T&G Construction for 32 years and at the time of his death was employed by the City of Lawton, Engineering Department. He was a member of Indiahoma First Baptist Church. He was never without his wife by his side, he loved working with her in the garden and cooking for his family. Never far from his side were "his boys" Gus and Woodrow. He could be found sitting on his front deck under the gazebo, both of which he built. There was nothing he couldn't build or equipment he couldn't run. Jeffy enjoyed shooting guns with his sons and grandchildren.

He was survived by his wife, Jo of the home; his children and their spouses, Billy and Laura, Chris and Shaquita, Mike and Jade and Jake and Alex; his mother, Mary Jane Roberts; his brothers  and sisters, Bennie, Sam, Linda and Michelle; his sister-in-law, Debbie and husband Jerry; his grandchildren, Dawson, Katie, Harmony, Tayah and Jobi; many cousins, nephews and nieces; and numerous work friends. 

Jeffy was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Roberts and Patricia Hobday, brother Matthew Roberts and brother-in-law Brent Fountain.
