Jerry Lynn Josefy, Sr.

Graveside service for Jerry Lynn Josefy, Sr, 82, of Grandfield, Oklahoma will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Grandfield Memorial Cemetery, Grandfield, Oklahoma with Pastor Dwight Parker of the Grandfield Church of Christ officiating.     

Mr. Josefy passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at his home in Grandfield. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Gray Funeral Home.

Jerry was born on February 24, 1939 in Grandfield, Oklahoma to Albert and Mary Alice (Due) Josefy. He grew up in Grandfield where he graduated from high school and worked as an auto mechanic for over 50 years.  He worked for Parton Garage for about 10 years before owning and operating his own shop. He farmed, raised cattle, and enjoyed gardening.  Jerry married Donna O'Keefe on February 9, 1960 and she passed away on March 17, 2018. Jerry served on the Grandfield Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years. 

He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Jerry Lynn Josefy, Jr and Carla Josefy, of Grandfield, OK; his brother and sister in law, Ronnie and Mary Josefy, of Grandfield, OK; his grandchildren, Brian Josefy, of Grandfield, OK and Amanda Hale and husband, Lu, of Lawton, OK; his great granddaughter, Zoe hale; and his nephews, Tyler Josefy and Todd Josefy. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Donna; and his brother, Kenneth Josefy.
