Jessica Dyan Begley

Celebration of life for Jessica Dyan Begley, of Lawton will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Western Hills Christian Church in Lawton, OK. 

Jessica Dyan, 37 ended her battle with Huntington’s disease on July 5, 2022 at the Shanoan Springs Residence in Chickasha, OK with family and friends by her side.

Jessica was born March 23, 1985 in Boise City, OK to Katherine Overstreet Timberlake and Keith (Pep) Begley.  She came into the world as the third child with two older brothers.  She was the baby; born with beautiful red hair.  Her brothers would say she was spoiled and Jessica would say she was picked on and aggravated on a daily basis.  This combination molded her into the wonderful woman she was.   After the loss of her dad, she was fortunate to have Pat Timberlake come into her life to be a second dad.  Jessica moved with her family to Elgin, OK in 1995.  That same year she met her best friend for life, Shayna Nickell.  They had the most incredible 28yr friendship together.  Their friendship lasted the test of time and they were as close as sisters.  Jessica graduated from Elgin High School in 2004.  She went on to have several jobs and found most enjoyment from decorating cakes while working in the bakery.  Jessica’s most valued role came in November of 2009 when she had her daughter, Kalie.  Being a mother to Kalie was by far her greatest and proudest achievement.  Jessica was an active member in the Huntington’s support group of Lawton.  She had the opportunity to travel to Huntington’s national conventions during the summers.  Jessica worked alongside her mom, Kathy to organize Huntington’s Awareness walks and Care to Cure car shows.  They worked yearly since 2011 to raise money for research to treat and cure Huntington’s disease.  Jessica enjoyed the little things in life, spending time with family and friends.  She remained strong and positive as her disease progressed.  

Jessica is survived by her daughter, Kalie of Lawton.  Her mother, Kathy Timberlake of Lawton.  Her brother, Brian Begley and wife Caitie of Elgin.  Sister Jenifer Timberlake of Elgin, OK.  Sister Shelby Howe and her husband Josh of HI.  Brother Howard Timberlake of TX.  Her grandmother, June Harryman of Stratford, TX.  Her best friend, Shayna Nickell of Elgin.  Her nieces, Laela Begley, Libby Begley and nephew, Hudson Begley all of Elgin.  Her aunts, Christine Rodriguez, Ina Shepler, Mary Overstreet, Carrie Overstreet, and Dana Overstreet.  She also leaves behind numerous cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Keith (Pep) Begley.  Her second dad, Patrick Timberlake.  Her brother, Bradley Begley.  Her grandfather, Roy Overstreet.  Niece Destinee Begley and nephew Braston Begley.
